The awards are open to everyone who works in DES, jobactive, Parents Next, Work for the Dole Co-odinator, Empowering Youth, Harvest Labour Services, and National Harvest Labour Information Service. In addition, Employment Consultant of the Year nominees can be working in CDP.


  • What questions do I need to answer to complete my award submission? If you click here then you will download a PDF that outlines the criteria for all five 2017 award catagories.
  • I work in a program area other than jobactive. Can I still apply for the awards? Absolutely. The NESA Awards are designed to honour everyone that is working as an employment provider under an Australian Government program and who works for a NESA member. This includes CDP, DES, jobactive and Work for the Dole areas.
  • Do I have to start and finish my submission in one session?  No. You can start your submission and come back to finish it any time before Monday July 17 at  5pm AEST.  At the end of each session make sure you hit the “Save” button. Do not hit the "Save and Finalise" button until you are ready to submit it.
  • Can I revise my submission after I've hit the "Save and Finalize" button?  No. The "Save and Finalise" button is FINAL. You can still print your submission.
  • How will I know my submission has been received?  When you have hit the "Save and Finalise" button you will receive a confirmation e-mail message. If you do not see that email come through then check your "junk" mailbox.
  • What should I do if I did not receive a confirmation e-mail after I hit the "Save and Finalize" button?  First, check your junk mail folder - the most likely problem is that your spam filter sent the e-mail there.  If you don't find it in your junk mail folder, please contact the Awards Managers for assistance.
  • Can we submit a few days late?  No. In the interest of fairness to all participants, no late entries will be accepted.
  • Can we submit multiple entries? Yes. Click again on the REGISTER HERE link. This will allow you to register another Entrant or register the same Entrant in a different category.
  • Can I work on multiple entries at the same time?  Once you have registered multiple times, each time you login you will see a table of incomplete and completed entries. Click on the "Edit" button to continue working on an incomplete entry.
